Aliya Murray, Registered Social Worker

As a registered social worker with 25 years of experience, Aliya has worked with a variety of populations including high risk children & their families, victims of crimes, patients in hospital settings, and group home clients.

Aliya has obtained her Master's of Social Work, with a focus on the over-representation BIPOC individuals face in education and child-welfare systems in Ontario.

Aliya works to support individuals with depression, anxiety, FASD, ODD, OCD, ADHD, and behavioural issues. She uses a range of modalities including CBT and solution focused therapy.

Aliya has experience working with families of homicide victims, domestic violence, disabilities, cancer, grief, one parent families, 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, homelessness, BIPOC communities, mental health, equity, inclusion, human rights, food security, and
various belief systems.
